In spite of several Google updates like Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird; basic of SEO always remain the same. You need to keep that in your mind. So in order to achieve success in online business through SEO, you don't need to do anything extraordinary. Be regular what you do and you will surely get the result. However it would be risky to depend only on SEO for traffic generation. You should look for other techniques also to generate targeted traffic to your website.
its ok but now where I can put our keywords in website coding through on page work..? <meta name="keywords" content= "/> this tag is not working now so please tell me where I can can put website keywords..?
You should put your keywords in this format- <meta name="keywords" content="Put all your keywords here using comma">
Google doesn't give any value to meta keywords, so don't try to stuff the keywords in meta keyword section. Try to mention your main keywords in meta title which will help you to improve your website ranking in Google SERP. After penguin update, Google has cleared, strong on-page activities and natural high quality link building are best way to optimize your website for Google Search engine. So do proper on-page activities and build quality links with high domain authority websites.
Stop building links and start earning links by creating content worth to be linked! Concentrate more on on-page SEO and social media marketing!m Don't waste your time and money on link building!
I virtually just arrived from the stone ages when it comes to SEO, so bear with me.. Are the two posts above me saying that the "link exchange" is a waste of time nowadays? Is it better to link to pages within a site than to the site itself?
Hey Page3, Thanks for asking. Link building has been a ranking factor to increase your search rankings. However, it has been massively abused and misused to rank websites with low quality links from low quality sources. I will highly suggest people on concentrate more on on-page SEO as it will provide great quality for the website. If you have great content published people would love linking to your content which would happened naturally. You should concentrate more on content promotion and distribution rather than doing link building.
Ah okay. Thanks for clarifying that. That's actually exactly what I'm doing (content building). I work with forums and I often have to look things up. The reason why I registered at digitalpoint is because I get taken to the forum many times from the search results, and the forum does have a lot of content
"White Hat" SEO tactics always have, and always will be successful. For example tactics like: 1) Making your website faster and easier to navigate. 2) Manually outreaching to make other people in your niche aware of what you are doing in order to get linked to. 3) Creating detailed and thought-provoking articles. 4) Finding broken links from authority sites, creating fresh quality content and asking the webmaster to replace the broken link for your new one. ... Will always help your site become more successful. Tactics that break Google's terms and conditions such as: 1) Linking back with spun articles. 2) Using software to create comment spam across the web. 3) Creating a blog network just for link juice. 4) Buying/renting links for link juice. Will certainly produce faster results with less time, money and effort. However, you will risk penalties that can have you back to square one overnight. SEO tactics are a personal choice depending on what type of site or business you intend to build. The main question is whether you want a long term business based on the site you are working on.
Meta name keywords is dead.. Each post or articles should always have keywords in them, especially titles and url. Link to higher authority websites that have a higher ranking. Good luck my friends...
