in 2013, I think social media would be booming in SEO.

 

There is lot to go on as you see 2012 google updates its from jan to dec so, you can not say anything. JUST wait and don't spam.

 

Article marketing still works, so long as you don't send the article to too many sites and you build backlinks to the article pages.

 

Social book marketing and social network are good ways to get more traffic.

 

Feed the users not the search engine then seo will just follows naturally look at some popular news sites they give information to the user that is why they rank without doing seo, they rank by popularity through real organic views.

 

After Google Penguin and Panda Update, i must say SEO 2013 will come with lots of challenges for a link builder, because if will miss a single rule, you will be considered as a spammer.
