Hi, I have a Verified Non-US Paypal Account and My friend has a Non-Verified Non-US Paypal account. I sent him some money as "Services" via PP for some cause. He did not need it and returned 2 Days after that as "Goods" via PP. Obviously, the later part was a mistake done by him. I've recieved the Payment as "Status-Held" in my account and My friend's account has been limited due to the common "3rd Party Access" problem. Now how can I redeem that money??? Any help anyone???
They most likely held the money because it flagged as a risk. This can be for a few reasons, primarily they think they you sent money to someone and had them send it back to you. It could also be because his account has suspicious activity and it is not verified. There are many reasons PayPal does what it does. If the money is limited, there should be something in your "Resolution Centre" that tells you what they need you to do to have the money released. I'm not sure what country you are in or if "Instant Payments" are available there, but if you used that method, they will hold it automatically until it clears. Best bet is to call PayPal and find out what they need you to do.
contact paypal administrator immediately. I sure they will response your problem promptly. I was get experience regarding payment to other party, and PP admin can solve it properly.
Ask your friend to contact PayPal and get his limits removed then only you will be able to have your money in your account. PayPal held your money thinking that some one has accessed his account and send you this money. And they limited his account so that they cant send more money out. Ask your friend to call them up and clear these things with PayPal and you will have your money then. Thanks
there is refund option in that transaction use that and tell him to use that too instead of sending/receiving money
Your friend's account has been limited for 3rd party access meaning Paypal has seen unauthorized usage of the same and hence they have put on hold the money sent from it since it believes somebody else other than the original owner has done this transaction. Your friend should call up Paypal and resolve their doubts in this regard, to free up his account and your on-hold money. Regards, RightMan
