sending text message to my cellphone

    I want people to send text message to my cellphone, but don't want to give out my cellphone number.

    But I see some people just have different numbers than their cellphone, like 55022 or 84500 and so on.

    Does each cellphone have a separate text msg number than the phone number? If so, how can I find out my txt msg number?

    Basically the message which comes out of your country shows the number like
    55022 or 84500.. :-??

    those 5 digit numbers are used by companies. individuals can't get them unless you have very deep pockets.

    ipipi.com has a txt back facility i believe... But yet again, i think txts don't get forwarded back to your phone.
