I need help in sending SMS's to my phone via Nagios on Ubuntu Server 10.04.

I have already installed Apache, Postfix and Nagios. Network has been configured and i'm able to send email internally. Now, the problem is, I want Nagios to send me an sms whenever a host/service has some problems. I've googled around and found some people using gnokii and kannel. What I really want is for Nagios to send a HTTP request to an sms center and the sms center can send me the sms.

Anyone have any idea on how I can set this up?

Try to integrate Ozeki NG SMS gateway, might solve all your problems with sms sending. It is als compatible with Nagios.

You could just use "e-mail to SMS" that many cellular providers have, for example "<10-digit-mobile-number>@providers-gateway.com". The cellular network completes the task of sending the actual SMS.
