Sending mail to hotmail

    i am not able to send any mails to hotmail members from my site. so members dont get activation mails etc(not even in junk).. i dont know why it happens, is there a way to pass it? if i use a SMTP server, will they recieve?

    You many have to use SPF to get to hotmail users

    Use following method to send emails. I think you are not sending proper mail header that's why Hotmail is blocking your emails. Try this.

    i think it was my server. i moved site another server now it works.. lol weird

    Not really. Hotmail probably blocked your old server's DNS because you probably sent too many mails at the same time and they considered you a spammer.

    nope i never sent too many emails so it can't be the problem. only activation mails were being sent. i can't send any mails to hotmail since the first month of my dedicated server. maybe the previous owner of that dedi spammed.

    Many mail services require reverse DNS for mail server.
