Sending files via email

    How do you send large files thru an email.



    I have 2 JPG at 25MB each I need to send to someone, What can I do ?

    Upload them to yousendit - or anyone of those types of sites - and then just email the person the link(s).

    Large files should not be sent as an attachment especially 25MB (most boxes only handle 5MB). Even if you manage to send it most ISP email boxes have limits on file size. You should upload the file to something like rapidshare and then send the person the link to the file so that it can be downloaded.

    winrar. www.rarlabs.com or winzip but imho winrar has better compression. then just attach them and send. and on a side note, wtf kind of jpg is 25mb? :)

    yeah, i suppose it could for wallpapering... his house. no but seriously if it's that big it probably should be dropped on some kind of dropfile site like yousendit as mentioned above

    i sending large files with skype or p2p programms, but if the file is very large (my internet speed isn't high) i better write file in usb flash or cd and send it via mail ;)

    but never use Rapid share..i always get ure IP is already downloading a file..

    maybe creating a torrent would be a better idea..or a RS clone..

    burn a cd and send it in the mail :p

    I've never seen a JPG that big...TIF&PSD all day long :D

    Possibly get a free web hosting account that you can access via FTP, upload the file, give the URL to your client.
