i have a forum and i need to email my members but i cant via the site as the server goes wild how can i send my members an email letting them no different things that has been happerning 16k members need 2 be emailed need a decent program
You should host the site on a better a server. I have a forum of 31k members and have my own DDS so let me know if your interested in moving as I can help.
its a decent server just slows the site down and server load goes sky high with 4 cpus i just want a simple program to run from my pc as i have many databases i could email from then
Well you can try to search for email marketing software or servers. They will provide good and reliable statistics and delivers.
Can u buy a separate mail server and send mails via that smtp? This is the only option for that much number of members, most of the forums use separate mail servers
