    Hi,
Let's say I have some domains at godaddy which I want to transfer to my name account, how do I go about doing that?

I know all about the 60-day period, but after that, how do I do it?

    Thanks,
    Simon

kiteguy123, To initiate a domain name transfer from one domain registrar to another you have to complete the following process.

    1) Ask your domain registrar for the EPP code or domain password.
    2) Remove the domain privacy or privacy guard from the domain.
    3) Initiate a domain transfer in the registrar where you want to keep the domain, you will need to give the domain password in a step of domain transfer process.
    4) New registrar will send an email to the current owner's email address that domain transfer has been initiated and click on a link to verify the domain transfer process.
    5) It will take one week in total to transfer the domain from one registrar to another registrar. The previous domain owner can stop the domain transfer process if he has any problem with the buyer of his domain name.
