Yes it is. These lists cost approx $10,000 to compile, and is being made available at a very reasonable price, .EDU email address lists are not easy to find. Those who take advantage of the monthly options will secure their ability to remain in the active running, as there will be a limit to how many times we mail this list per month to ensure it's continued quality. I have few Questions, before I'd send you a PM, and I think it would be better if you answer them publically. 1) What is the source of the email IDs in that list. 2) Do the Owners of those email IDs know about this sale/Campaign? 3) Does your client have the rights to sell such list (Privacy issue involved.) 4) What is the guarantee of authenticity of the list. 1. Source: Gathered from individuals affiliated with the university, info kept confidential though you can get more details from the list owner. 2. All emails are bulk, as with any non double opt-in list I will not gaurantee that 450,000+ email recipients are aware of the campaigns. 3. Yes, the client is the owner of the list, built it to promote his website, which offers tutoring to students, like a student meet tutor match environment, now is offering the list on a limited basis. 4. Gaurantee- I have tested approx 10% of this list my self, and was satisfied with the results. Each purchaser is provided with a link and login by the client to track their campaign in real-time... Few things to keep in mind, to my knowledge, that defines the difference between spam and bulk emailing. 1. Do not modify, or make the header illegit in any way. 2. Bulk mails must have a actual reply-to address. 3. Bulk mail must include a working unsubscribe link. All this is met through this offer, and was contingent upon my association with it. The list owner is already talking to me about wanting to raise it. So I doubt it. Sorry, though, this helps guarantee the quality. If it were say, $5.00, then more people would want to mail it, and the monthly max would fill up very quick reducing his over-all income (in theory).
