This is the lamest thing I have seen.. Matt Cutts is sitting back laughing his ass off right now.. People are reporting all of the sites that come up better then them on the serps thinking they are actually doing some good.. Yes that is how it is done If you are at pos 50 report the 49 sites that come up before you and in 2-3 days bingo you are again at the top of the serp's. The SAD reallity is you have kiss asses such as reseller who actually think that it works... Open your eyes people the spam reports are not working.. Google is messed up right now either intentionally or not the bottom line is it is messed up. The Spam reports are just a cover up. So keep spending your time searching and sending those reports if you wish...HOWEVER YOU ARE WAISTING YOUR TIME

Didn't notice your post over there until now...I see you did notice what I am talking about long before I posted.

 

Did so just now after reading thru the thread over there. I do see both sides. Many do take it serious, the cleaning up of spam results. And yeah, others do use it as an opportunity to "tell on" their competitors or to look better than they really are. Not sure what Matt thinks about all this. I for once believe Matt Cutts should be a members on DP and start showing us what he's really made of

Agreed, But I can see how Matt must look at posts such as Resellers and laugh. I mean I believe if there is spam it should be reported but we do not need someone trying to be god and posting the same thing over and over. some people over there look to Googleguy and also Reseller as some sort of god then go crazy with reporting sites that are not necessarily spam.. others just as you said start reporting all of there competitors.

 

True, he is prolly just some dude trying to make a name for himself agreeing with Matt.

 

I was only reffering to the other forum to show how this spam reporting for Jagger can get out of hand..

 

I believe Barre Tire was someone that a few months ago was discovered using black hat techniques on his site.
