Send PAYPAL using XOOM

    Hello

    someone asked me to send paypal using xoom.com

    because in this case I can't request a chargeback? true?

    Anyone can explain me how this works?

    Yes you can't request chargeback if he/she will scam you...

    Are you doing any deal with him/her??

    Yes you will get your money back if your receiver has not picked up the money from Xoom.

    You have to be careful while sending payment through xoom using paypal to your client. They clearly mentioned that

    Yes ok, but if I send with XOOM, the recipient pick up the money...

    and after that what if PAYPAL ask a chargeback to xoom.com ?

    Yes PayPal will ask a chargeback but Xoom will win always ;)

    let me try to understand.

    I send money from my paypal account to his paypal but by using XOOM as intermediate, this way paypal can't get the funds of a chargeback since i didn't send the money directly to other paypal account, it's something like this?

    You are sending money from your paypal account to xoom in US$ and xoom send it to your client in INR so there is no any involvement of your clients paypal account while xoom is a mediator in this.

    Read this to know How Xoom Works:

    If you want to send payment to other person which is outside of your country then you can use Xoom to do it.

    Sender needs to have a Xoom Account for this. Receiver doesn't require a xoom account or PayPal account at all.

    Sender can use his credit card/PayPal account to send money.

    At a time of sending money, Sender needs to specify a Delivery Method.
    There are 2-3 common delivery methods.
    1. Cash Pick Up (Receiver needs to go to their pick up center to receive money)
    2. Bank Transfer (Xoom will transfer the money to receiver's bank account)
    3. Home Delivery (Xoom will send money to his address via Courier)

    paypal will never charge back XOOM as XOOM displays the message PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION SUCCESSFUL only after confirming from paypal the funds are appropiate.:)
