can anyone help me? I have an order form in javascript. I would like to be able to have the information that the user puts into the form to be sent to my email when they hit the submit button. Also, when they hit the submit button, i would like for them to see a thank you/confirmation page that they can print for their records. I do not know how to code this to make it happen. 'mailto:' doesn't seem to work.
what you are looking for is simple form mail script.. plz do a search on google for "form mail script" you will come across many free ones.. if you would need a custom form mailer coded for you, feel free to contact me
game on...thanks for your reply. once i have a script in place...can i test it the same way i would test the view of a page in a browser or do i need a server? This website is not yet published.
yea You would need a Server to test the mail script, but if you want i can code it and Put up on my site , wherein you can test it online and Carry forward if you are satisfied..
rharr, you may consider some of the sites that host the form mail script for you. take a look at http://www.formnut.com if you do not have many form submissions, then the service is free.
