I want to send an SMS to an Australian mobile phone. I will be doing it on a regular basis, so i want a site where I can send messages for free from the web to mobile phone.

    I've seen a few sites like http://www.intazaar.com.au/ and http://smspup.com/
but they need registration and an australian number to complete the registration.

Any one have any better sites where I can send messages without registering

Maybe someone living in Australia can help.

I would recommend you visit textmefree.com, there's quite an extensive list of free sites there.

yawn this has been around for ages in AUS,

can you choose the number you are sending it from?

or does it come up as a random number?

Well, why not just try it out your self? It only take 10 seconds :)
