Hi all, it have been like 6 months since one guy is sending me tons of mails, I have received 10-15 emails by week for over 6 months, I have asked this guy nicely to stop sending me emails but he keeps doing it. I don't know what to do but I am thinking to send him 1000 or 10000 emails and see if this way he stop sending me emails. This guy is sending out using always different email adress (msn, yahoo, google, etc), he never use the same email adress. he is a spammer. But he have his real email adress in the body of the email, actually have 2 email adress. For this I need to know if exist an email software that include the option to send several emails to 1 email adress. Thanks in advance
At 1st, don't delete mail, just select those mail and send them into "Spam" box... Continue this at least 1 week regularly... After then you notice that maximum such mail (near about 80-90%) not come into inbox...they will automatically go into your spam box... Mail will be deleted automatically after some days (1 month)
Could you find button or link for subcribe and unsubscribe in his mail content? If yes, you can unsubscribe to him and then your email address will not in his mail list. Hope that can help you.
If their is no unsubscribe button in mail you can use filter for spam messages. There must be option for filter.
To be sending that many emails, he's probably using software. You could however, check the long headers of the email to see if its originating from the same IP address and block that. Long shot, but worth a try!
If it were in the US, you could track him down and sue him for each email. It would definitely be grounds for him to stop. Just keep hitting the spam button.. It's start sending all his messages to spam
If you are using Outlook the marking as Junk might not work too well. Catch all your emails in gmail and then send to Outlook/Thunderbird etc but let gmail's spam filter do some of the work. Here's how I tackled whitesmoke a few years ago when I was still using Outlook. Set up gmail to clear the pop3 account that the spam was being sent to Change the account settings so that the gmail account was being cleared by Outlook but the reply to address would still show the regular email (didn't want to mess up the emails I sent) Close Outlook overnight First thing in the morning open Gmail and see the emails that had been received overnight Mark the spam as spam I did that for a week and then thought whitesmoke had stopped sending emails, checked the spam folder and there they all were. Once gmail is doing all the hard work you can leave Outlook open and keep working. The only minor annoyance is that you may find emails don't appear instantly but if you are working efficiently you shouldn't be checking them constantly anyway.
That's not always appropriate - if your clients, friends and family all use it, for instance. Far easier just to let the spam filter do it's job. Also if you use gmail and the guy does always have his email address in the body of the email then you can create a filter and automatically send it to the spam folder.
This guy is using always a different email adress, also he is using always a different SMTP, he is a professional spammer, From my side I am using Windows Live Mail
but you can filter on the content of the email and search for one of those emails that he always gives.
Perfectly true changing email address is not the correct option. Send the mails to spam and gradually it will filter all his mails directly to spam folder.
If he has his real email address in the body of each email, why don't you just setup a filter to send all of those emails to trash? That would be the easiest solution. You should be able to create a filter that looks for that string in the body of the email. Or, if you are a glutton for punishment, have them all delivered to a single mail folder so you can collect data on his offense and use it to file reports against him, but that seems like a waste of time, money, and effort.
The only real recourse you have is to call his host (I would call, not email) and tell them that he's spamming. Getting him kicked off his host would cause him some pain. Don't spam back - you'll just get your own IP / domain blacklisted.
