I am sure we have all heard about a seminar that promises to change peoples lives... all they have to do is pay the $5k entrants fee.

However, when they get there, they are told that they will also need to spend another $8k buying products etc...

So I was glad to see that Woody at Woodymaxim.com has created an online petition to put a stop to this.

Personally I don't pay to go to seminars, I get invited, but I can sympathise with the message, so I have signed the petition. You should do the same.

I agree that it is not going to stop overnight, but the least we can do is let people know that we feel it is immoral and incorrect.

I an not sure we should be throwing out the baby with the bathwater, there are lots of seminars out there, if this one isnt good (and I am not familiar with it, so I cannot comment), but I have for example been to a seminar that cost 2k, then there was a 65k upsell which I bought, and it was a great investment, I think it is case by case.

I think the thing people need to stop are the "Free" seminars in places and people travel there and then there is a processing fee of 2k-5k so by the time the people travel there then they are entrapped to pay the fee or waste a trip
