Semi-Automated Directory Submission Service From time to time I receive from clients the lists of directories they ordered from another submissions service, as they want me to check how many more submissions we can do. Each and every time it turns out that the list being used is not checked; the list is full with directories that have redirects, java, nofollow and other SEO-problems. In other words; other services don’t check the directories and just submit to any directory they can find. Many times it’s even worse; they use an automated program, that’s easy to check; we just compare the list with the lists of some of these programs and for sure 1 of those lists turns out to be an almost perfect match. While it’s soooo important that the directories are being checked; we have checked in total 18.000 free directories, we only kept 2.500 of them, that’s just 14%, in other words; 86% of the directories out there are not SEO-friendly. For sure, each time we check one of those cheap lists at least 60% of the directories used we have classified as being NOT-SEO-friendly and so we don’t use for submissions. But most other services do. Which of course also means that they wasted at least 60% of your money … The only service I know that also does all the checking as we do is: http://info.vilesilencer.com/service ... they charge $449 for 500 submissions !! But whenever you order anything like 3.000 submissions for $175, you bet it’s done automated, although they claim it’s not … what can I say? They lie! Well, from now on we also offer semi-automated directory submissions. The only difference is that we don’t lie about it. We’re not selling it as manual submissions, we sell them for what they are: semi-automated submissions. Everything in life has its advantages and disadvantages. The only advantage semi-automated submissions has; it’s indeed very, very fast and despite the huge amount of wasted submissions and worthless links you get out of it … it’s so cheap, in the end it’s still worth something. These are the disadvantages of automated submissions; * They can only use directories that are running on a few specific scripts. o That means that they can’t submit to any of the top-300 directories, as they exist already longer than those scripts. o There are also a lot new directories using other scripts, the automated program can’t access. o Even those that use 1 of the scripts, have little extra scripts and settings in place to avoid automated submissions * In other words; they only submit to a small part of the total amount of directories! * They simply didn’t think about the whole concept of the submissions well enough and so they forget crucial elements like; o length of the descriptions; the automated systems just ignores that, so many times you will submit with a descriptions that’s too long or too short and so it results in rejections o same for the titles; they just advice you to use titles with less than 30 characters, so you can always submit, as none have minimums, while many have 30 as the maximum of 30 characters for the titles. So, that way you at least avoid rejection, but you do miss out on those that allow longer titles which are very useful for long tail keywords. o The directories constantly change their settings; add more sub-categories, although they try to update, they’re always late anyway and so, whenever the automated programs submits with an out-of-date category list, your submissions get submitted to the wrong category; that’s a rejection for sure. * In other words; the approval ratio is too low; much lower than manual-submissions.com ? * Worst of all; they simply don’t check the directories; they put any directory in there that the system can use; while many directories have redirects, nofollow etc. so those submissions, even if you do get a link out of it are wasted … and … that’s about 50% of their list!! But ok … it’s cheap … so, a good way to do the whole directory submissions package … first you should take at least 500 manual submissions (best 1.000), so you do get links from the top directories and you can be sure it’s done right, so you actually get a whole lot of good links from it. Then you could do 500 or 1.000 more automated submissions, that way you combine the quality of manual submissions with the quantity of automated submissions. Because … yes, it’s much faster, so we can do it cheaper, and as we already did the best ones for you: the lower value directories aren’t worth it to be submitted manually.
