OK I've added several articles to my site for the purpose of capturing Long-Tail Traffic.

I was able to obtain the keywords from my logs from my PPC campaign.

I then wrote content around the long-tail keywords and attached the content to my main page as a sort of article with an ORDER NOW and SEE SALES PAGE pair of buttons at the bottom.

All of my articles are on each page because the bottom portion of the main page is shared. Each article is linked via its anchor text.

    The Following is Fictional:

SO, imagine you come to my site. The main page is optimized for CAT FOOD and CAT CHOW. But a long tail term, which is "Chewable Canine Food" is something else I want to target for my audience. So, what I did was create some content around "Chewable Canine Food" on a seperate page. This page has a sales page button (to link back to my main sales page) and an "order now" button. The "Chewable Canine Food" optimized page is linked via anchor text from the bottom of each page. The anchor text, is, of course, Chewable Canine Food.

Is this Safe SEO? What if I end up having.. 30 or so outbound links at the bottom of each page (shared) that link to these long tail articles. Is that dangerous in any way?

Outbound links ? do your longtail keywords pages are offsite ? If they are still on same url, no problem, and you have done right.

If they are off site, still no problem I guess, since they should be related

Yep, all within my site.. When I meant outbound I just meant ... a basic link within my site.
