Does anyone know about Semantic Web technologies? The way I understand it, it's like a layer of metadata that makes pages more searchable.

Is this something that could be a benefit for SEO?

Overall, in my opinion semantic web sounds like basic on-page SEO. Like simply filling out your Title Tags, Meta Descriptions, Meta Keywords (even though Google doesn't use them), etc. Also add related keywords into your writing which will in the end, make your webpages more "searchable".
