I was wondering what the suggested method of selling scripts is. The scripts are written in PHP, with HTML template files, CSS files, and JS files. Essentially only the PHP files will need to be encrypted. - How can I encrypt them? What method should I use? - How can I send the scripts? I am selling them on a personal basis: mostly by forums and private messages. What is the suggested way to make it so that the scripts can only be downloaded by the person that paid me?
You should use ioncube or go to sourceguardian.com to buy the tool to protect your script. You can sent it by email so that the link is only available to the particular client only.
I once came accross ezypal and found it pretty useful in cases like yours, it will allow you to give your buyers access to download specific products they have purchased. As for the encryption, I would rather not do that at all.
I use payloadz.com. I feel this is the best way to sell it. All you have to do is click in the person email, and it send them a special link that only works for 48 hours. It also is good because it is considered delivered so people can not file for never receiving it to paypal.. Its also free Hope this helps Brandon
