Selling XOOPS hosting with custom templates (e.g. copyright removal)

    Hi,

    I want to sell XOOPS hosting, but under my "brand" (e.g. I would remove the XOOPS copyright notice form the frontend and admin templates but NOT the php code). Am I allowed to do this? Also, do I have to modify the php scripts before I do so or can I just leave them like that?

    I am double checking just in case. I found I can removed the copyright here: http://www.xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=54963&forum=20

    I am asking because some of the scripts (like SMF?) INTEND on leaving their (c) in the footer no matter what you do.

    As far as I found out, XOOPS allows copyright template romoval. Like also osCommerce and Zen Cart do.
