Can someone please clarify...? What the hell does selling weight mean, lol? Is it like Shynock in Merchant of Venice?
Firstly, selling weight is not permitted (or at least frowned upon by Sean). I have no idea whether the same applies to selling ad space, though i doubt it. You should be free to choose who or what you advertise so long as its consistent with the TOS. Technically, weight is transferred by binding your coop account with a master coop account. Take a look at your account settings for more info. The best bet when you receive an invitation to sell your weight is to simply ignore it. If an alternative is requested such as adspace, this may be something you can proceed with (check the TOS), but the weight and exposure associated with an add is impossible to determine by a third party, so the point may be mute anyway. Remember: Check the TOS. I can only offer my observations here. Hope that helps.
Why not just give away weight? It's better for karma and is not illegal. So, please if you absolutely have to get rid of it... just give it to me. and "Thanks" ahead of time.
