Selling website on ebay - it it allowed?

    Hello all,

    Didn't ebay ban digital goods from it's auction listings?

    How come once can find tons of websites for sale, am i missing something?

    As I know, you can sell websites in ebay.
    And there are some other sites too.

    Its allowed, but be wary of people contacting you outside of ebay saying that "they noticed you were selling a domain on ebay, but would like to buy it outside of ebay" - they are scammers, and it is rife!

    Yes you can Sell/Buy domains on ebay as long as you put it in the right Catagory and it doesn't contain anything illegal.

    I would recommend you call the number on the paypal account before transfering the site over and request on your auction that people bidding Must have been a ebay member for more then 30Days for example and have like 10+ Feedback. To prevent any fraudlant activity.

    It perfectly fine...I sell on their all the time, and have bought websites there..although the quality has dropped a bit

    Most of the time, websites don't get very much bidding on Ebay. So, the prices are rather low.

    Be careful when selling your website, details such as Selling the whole website or just the domain name. Give more information about, like when the domain expires and the hosting.

    You can sell not only websites but you can also sell templates,ebooks or any digital products.I made a sale on ebay selling my old websites.Make sure you sell on this category

    I sold 2 traffic exchange sites on ebay but when I tried to sell digital goods they took them off of ebay.

    Why not use DP itself to sell your domain and content.
    you can get nice trusted buyers here..
