    I just posted this on my other thread, but I wanted to do it here to in hope that others may be spared this nonsense:

    Most of us who are members of DP are also SitePoint members. Watch out for the maggot on Sitepoint and Ebay; he may be under some rock there.

    Also, it is highly probable that he will simply sign up under a different member name on DP and do biz as usual.

    What you could do is, reply back saying "if what he says is true (although it isn't), where is my moderator status on the website in mention?"

    People like this need to be in jail! I would be glad to join the hunt on getting this man put away!

    I just started a dispute with him on paypal and he raised the dispute into a claim lol. Meaning he is not willing to offer my $400 refund for the website. i just hope paypal does the right thing and gives me my money back that stealer stole! thanks.

    I've had a similar issue with a seller over $2200, and though it took a while and it was complicated, PayPal did return the funds. I had very clearly labeled the transaction, as I always do, with the following text:

    For the exclusive purchase of xxx.com, it's domain, site files, databases, images, and any copyrights held in it's name.

    PayPal said they based the decision simply on the WHOIS record, which obviously didn't show me as the owner of the disputed domain.

    Anyway, point is, I'm sure everything will work out...and good luck with the hunt!

    I too just sold a site, but only $40 and after I pushed the account into his name, he filed a paypal claim. WTF is with all the dishonesty??? Some people have no shame I guess. Glad everything worked out for you who got the funds back.

    He is now going under the user titanboy and he got to me too :S. Wish I saw this first. Well, I have already sent this to a claim and even called Paypal and talked about it with them. Hope the guy decides to refund me back, we will see.

    Most of Chinese are honest.
    The scammer made some money by cheating others,but he can't be on USA any more, otherwise he will be arrested by USA policeman.

    Shaggy.. What website forum is he on? He scammed me as well. I was able to get back most of my money but not all of it as paypal said they could not retrieve all of the funds. The forum was originally yndforum.com which I was going to buy, then all of a sudden a day after transaction he did a redirect from that url to theynd.com. He told me hackers had redirected the forum and he would have it straightened out in a couple days! That’s when I did my dispute but it seemed to be too late.
