Selling two-month-old PR5 (real) make-money site: blogsformoney.com

Hi all,

I've been running blogsformoney.com for two months. It's focused on making money online, though with a large focus on using Amazon and Google AdWords. In the first month I made around £200 profit (and posted a breakdown) and this month is on track for about the same.

I've decided I don't really have time to continue the site and other things, so I'm considering selling it. It has a PR5 and about 120 RSS subscribers. Feel free to look it up on Alexa, Technorati etc.

Please post any offers here or PM me if you're interested, and if your offer is good we'll talk further.

Up for grabs is the domain name and a full copy of the entire site (requires asp.net 2 hosting if you want to use it as it is). The content is free to do what you wish with.

I don't have a price in mind, because I don't know what people consider the site worth. When I've had a few offers in the same ballpark I'll post a figure here to see if others are interested at that price.

I can provide proof of stats before any transaction, so I'm happy to take offers based on "as long as you can prove the stats, I bid £x". Payment must be by paypal.

Today Feedburner shows 115 subscribers (it fluctuates around that number). I can make the hit counter visible with an image to prove it's real.

Analytics shows for the last month:
1641 visits
3691 pageviews
2.25 pages/visit
55% bounce rate
2:56 average time on site
68% new visits

Last month was a lot higher, but I've not posted much the last 2-3 weeks due to being ill and rather busy (one of the reasons I'm hoping someone can take over!)

I think I can add whoever buys the site as a user in Analytics to prove these stats before taking payment.

Please don't forget to check Technorati, Alexa and other site rankings. I'm not here to scam anyone, and I don't want the buyer feeling ripped off. I will answer any questions and provide proof of any stats etc. you might want.

Something strange happening at DP, I'm getting loads of notifactions of old PMs like the page is cached, but they're threads that didn't exist on the date that they tell me I have new PMs from!

 

Short on cash but will offer $300 to get started, do you have 'ballpark' BIN?

 

I don't really know how to measure the sites value, but I was hoping for bids around $750. It depends on the interest. If I get a bid I like, I'll take it

I've had two offers, highest being $500. I'm not really prepared to sell at that price, so I'm considering holding in to the site and just updating it less frequently. We'll see!

As of it shows a pr5 with no backlinks. I know links in google do not show very fast, but is like 3 months already..

 

Doh, didn't realise that. I've been able to see them in Gogle Webmaster Tools for months (way before PR update). It says 1717 now, but it was about 3.7k last time I looked. I think that's because a ton came from being Top Commentor on sites with thousands of pages (which mean I was linked on every page in the sidebar, but has since gone). Still, 1717 isn't bad given they're almost all other sites in the same area =D

The £200/month I mentioned was made (as mentioned) with Amazon and AdWords - not from the site and I'm not selling anything to do with that. I'm selling the blog as you see it for you to do what you want with. You're buying the domain and contents of the site, with the stats I provided above (which I will provide proof of to anyone that offers something I'm interested in). There is no revenue unless you decided to monetize the site, and that's all up to you.
