    Hi all

I'm in the UK, just had an auction won on ebay by somebody who's registerd address is in Malysia (eventhough my settings had post to uk only!).

Has anybody in the UK delt with anybody in Malaysia?, usually I wouldn't take paypal and have no intention to. Could I offer them to make a payment via Google Checkout?

What's the deal with Google Checkout? Can buyers charge back on that?

If you explicitly mentioned that the auction is for UK only then you have the right to reject the offer.

Malaysia is generally okay but as with dealing with any foreign buyers, you will need to be careful.

Google Checkout like Paypal with only extend protection on physical products with proof of delivery and comply to the terms listed on http://checkout.google.com/support/sell/bin/answer.py?answer=42863

alot of the time you will receive payment (no fake paypal emails like nigerian scammers) but normally they are stolen cc details. as long as you are careful. only ship to name on card (make sure they match the ebay details) etc you should be fine. if you are drop shipping have it delivered to you first and then send out there. gives time to see if cc details are stolen.

Its good unless you take few security measures.

Google CO has better protection than PayPal for chargebacks, anyways.
