Hi, I'm a college student and I pay big bucks for my textbooks. However, when I go to return them to the college bookstore, they are always buying new books and will not accempt my semester-old textbooks. I looked up some of the ISBN numbers for my rejected textbooks online and those sites aren't sellling them either. Do you think they will sell on ebay? They are from last semester.

maybe someone will buy it, just try it.
if you are lucky, you will get someone who wants to study a lot.
Does the curriculum still the same?

why don't you sell it to your junior on your college?
does the lecturer give the home works from the newest book?
if yes, maybe no junior will buy your book.

I could see someone buying it if it was a somewhat popular class.

Selling on eBay might get you a few bucks, but the shipping costs will definitely lower the amount someone bids on them. Selling them locally on Craigslist or with flyers around campus might be worth a shot before going the eBay route.

It will sell in eBay. There are buyers who will make use of old books. Books no matter how old can still be useful. Shipping fee is a factor to be considered like what was mentioned above. Just include the shipping fee on the rate that you will post. This works most of the time. Good luck!

Items will sell on eBay especially books. You have to have a solid reputation to get items to move fast because buyers are usually starting class soon and want to make sure the book comes in on time.

Amazon's Buyback program is pretty good, and they pay well -- but only in Amazon gift certificates. You might also try Chegg.com for PayPal payment. I have used them to sell books I bought off of local students.

I guess you need to sell them at 40 percent the original price. That is what people in my part of the world do.
