Selling Selling Tech Blog - 35k UV's Per Month

Hello DP,

I am parting ways with a successful blog that I have built from the ground up. It is a blog that is based on the jailbreak niche. You may have heard that apple is getting ready to release iOS 8, well the jailbreak will be soon to follow, and this site is already ranking for some good keywords.

The reason I am parting ways with this site is that I have just earned a promotion at my 9-5 job and as you will see I do not really have time to update the site.

I previously tried to sell the site on Flippa but I had a death in the family and was gone for the majority of the time and since the site is not being updated or anything I want a quick sale so I decided to try it here.

Now do not get me wrong, I will not let this site go at a loss, but so far this year this blog has earned me $15,000+ USD on adsense alone. Now the earning have declined a bit from lack of updates, but it still brings in money, and visitors and with a little love and care can be right back to its earning potential. I just simply do not have the time to keep it updated.

The site is 0pr, but has a really nice DA/PA as well as some decent backlinks. Now the backlinks look kinda weird and here is why:
When I first started ranking in this niche, a competitor spammed my website with low quality links in effort to unseat me from the top of the SERPS. But using the disavow tool I got things under control and now it is steady.

The site also comes with a facebook fan page with 6000+ fans.

This site has huge potential, I tried using a jailbreak CPA offer and it did really well, but I got some customer feedback that said the software was a rip-off so I pulled it. The new buyer could easily add these links again and start earning with that as well. It also comes with a 500+ person mailing list that I have never mailed, just collected e-mails, so that is another way you could market products.

Overall this was my first attempt at this kind of website, and it turned out really well. I just want someone to take it over and grow it to the potential that it deserves, or even just to add to their portfolio to keep making steady money. After the sale, I will show you exactly where I get the ideas for the content (its an endless stream) and how you can get going asap.

Since this site is pretty dear to me I would like to use escrow to protect both sides.

BONUS: I have an arcade site I messed with for about 3 months and never touched again that I will throw in. It makes$3-5 dollars a day usually and I wont be using it.

Yes it is true that DP has some of the biggest buyers of websites.
Anyway in order to attract those 'BIG players' to your auction, you need to set up your auction properly. For example you should have a 'starting bid', a 'reserve price' and the 'BIN price'. So that your auction gets rolling. And you never know if you some of those BIG players decide to buy your website you may get more than 7K for your website.
Also you should explicitly mention if you are willing to accept Escrow or not. That also helps.

 

My listing says I accept escrow. I would not trust an amount this large for pay pal. And the reason I didn't start with a starting bid is because if you arent in my general ball park why waste my time. I have 0 problem sitting on this site until I get what I want, It is making money still so no need to get a bunch of low ball offers and waste my time.
