Hi, Wondered if someone could advise.

A friend of mine wrote a book on a certain subject and had it published by a small time publisher. I also have a book on the same subject but get far more exposure to sell it so I offered to become an affiliate to the book, just to sell it for a month, there are loads of people on my blog and through my massive email list that will buy it, I reckon about 300.

Now the physical book sells for £15 but he sells the ebook version for £5 and this is what we agreed to offer. He then said he may get in trouble with his publisher and was worried about getting in trouble. Surely he owns the rights to the book and can sell the ebook with 100% profits to himself, or am I wrong. The publisher would have a 0.01% chance of seeing it I feel as the page people will be directed to is not indexed and will only be up for a month.

But I don't want him getting in trouble, could anyone advise?

    Paul
