my software is very unique its a very unsaturated niche market so there is no real competition...the price is 25$...i have 2 ways to go as i see it: 1) give it as a one month free trial kind of thing the pros: people are more willing to try if they dont have to pay first the cons: some will not buy or decide they dont need it after all 2) make them pay and then try the pros: some people will buy that dont need it or dont like it or wont use it (but they dont know it without the 1 month free trial) the cons: "pay first" will turn some people away and make them not even try it now on option 2 i wold offer a money back guarantee no questions thing so this would be a plus... what do you think? which way would you go and why? thanks for any input.
I would suggest a 7 day or 14 day trial for $1. That seems to work very well. Michael PS. What does your software do?
I agree. Also you should avoid free trials in my opinion because more people will torrent it and hack it to avoid detection and protection. (if they have it for a month, they can hack it pretty easy)
make a trial version and disable some features ( like saving to file , limiting number of usages etc ) thats why u can make paid version is best
