selling signature space

    I've read a in a few web forums that people who are forum "elites" are making good money off their signature space. anyone heard of this?

    What are your opinions on it? can you really make good money?

    So basically if you sit on the forums as much as 8 does, you're all set for college, eventually. ;)

    Anyway, ratio is 100 posts to a $1, though that rarely works out. I had to sell my last sig link for $12. So the ratio can be a gross misinterpretation at times.

    It should not be your sole purpose for being on a forum but once you reach a good number of post and have a good rep, you normally can get around $.01 a post for your signature on most popular forums like DP.

    Ajeet is buying perm. sig links. So if you have 20k posts like Blogmaster you can sell it to him for 2.2 thousand $$.

    Its becoming tougher and tougher to sell..But thats why we're not here, thats just another way to make money..The rate never goes through, people with 500 get $10 a month, people with $1000 get $7 sometimes..It all depends on the person buying, and when you're selling..

    what do you think i can bring in for my sig on my sports forum?

    i personally have 7037 (8.377 per day) posts on a 3 year old forum, PR3, with 24,000 pages indexed by Google so far.

    I would advise anyone to first concentrae on making resonable posts before he or she makes money. The initial impressive post would be 500 post count.Also one should then start doing transactions and thus earning itrader points.Once these two parameters are establish you can sell your signature links in the form of renting it on monthly basis. Then there are other ways of making money too.
