Selling Security Product

I have a friend who wants me to help him with some Internet marketing for their sort of high end biometric security product.

I suggested we list at least one of the low end products on Amazon and other stores just to raise awareness. What other stores should we list at?

I am thinking like Amazon.com, eBay Stores, Yahoo Stores, Half.com, Google Base, etc. We'll work out the specifics of the monthly fee or whatever to see if it makes sense later, right now I am just fishing for as many options as possible..

Where else can we list his product?

Sounds fine to me - please explain.

Besides PriceGrabber.com - what are the other big ones?

Hmm, maybe partner up with a smaller company selling a related product/solution (e.g. software, guides) ? It would mean targetted , prequalified visitors and since it's hardware and software, it's not really competing with each other.

Targetted advertising on security related forums, wikis or similar may work very well, too. (in case your friend has a website/onlineshop for his product).

It's not my niche, so no websites or companies I could recommend, just an idea...
