hope this is the right forum.

I have a website that is regional and promotes activities/culture/lifestyle of this region of my state in the USA.

I have vacation rentals listed on my site which i do charge the VR owners a yearly listing fee.

I want to know how to get into selling Real estate homes/propery on my website...if my site is considered the official website of this town/region dont you think i can profit off of real estate sells????

i know that it is more popular for a buyer to go to a real estate website and look for houses on the market but Im just trying to monetize in every possible way.

what do I need to do to make money off a sale of a home..

    1. do i need to find a real estate agent to work with and post his listings on my site and if he makes a sell from a lead from my website then i get commision??

    2. should i get my own RE license and join a brokerage so that i can get listings and post it on my website????

    ...help anyone....

    thank you.

I would get R/E agents to post their listings on your website, like any traditional R/E site.

You also are proposing a considerable shift in focus from being aimed at tourists to being aimed predominately at local residents.
