Selling Products on web

I've seen tons of people making money selling products.

I personally wanna get into this, but don't have any product I could sell..

What should i do to get into the state of mind of thinking of products to sell?

Affiliate sales are a great way to make money, but I would not just recommend joining an affiliate program if you have no experience as an affiliate marketer. You need some guidance and education to make it as an affiliate marketer. A good place to start would be to download the free ebook by Ken Evoy called "Affiliate Masters Course". Read and study this book. It is one of the best. If you implement the ideas it contains, you can do very well as an affiliate marketer. BTW...there are other great guides out there too. This is just one. But beware, there are all kinds of people hawking their "guides" that are nothing but junk. You can download the ebook at http://aff-masters.sitesell.com/.

Another area that is low cost, low risk is dropshipping. For good information and guidance in this area, check out http://www.worldwidebrands.com/. Pay special attention to the "Free Learning" section.

You can buy resale rights to some product and then sell it on your site. But the ebooks/softwares you get for resale are not very good ones. Better get something developed specifically for yourself.
Second option is to put up a template package where you have 200 templates for $10 or something similar.
Third option is to sell a script which is not available for free. (advanced autoresponders,advanced blogging,article submission directory etc.)
Another thing that you can do is put up a membership site. But it's hard to keep adding new content to this one. However worth the effort if picks once.
Then you can also get something tangible developed and sell it on web. Could be anything of use. This process cannot be automated as you would have read.( requires shipping and a lot of work. this is what I am currently working on . Will come up here Nothing there yet.).

For the website you might consider putting up a sales letter which is not very hard in pitch but an honest description of your products.

You may also want to look at ClickBank for some brainstorming ideas - it's loaded with info products, and may be a good place to start.
