Selling PR4 Video Blog With Great Potential And Revenue

Site: I have started it on August 2006. It is a very successful video blog site. I just browse video sites daily, and then embed the videos i like.

As you can see, it is a wordpress blog with a custom TABLELESS template. (You can not find it anywhere, because i built it.)

Why am i selling it?: I started the site when i have a lot of interest in youtube and other video sites. Now i don't have it anymore, so updating the site is just a pain in the ass for me. I wanted to sell it before the site is dead. It would be very unfortunate.

Revenue: Revenue is via Google Adsense, and it is usually between $40-$50 monthly. But there were several spikes before. I made $100 a month, $20 another, etc.

Promotion: I have never done any real promotion. Only a few myspace bulletins.

Traffic: Traffic is organic. Visitors usually come from stumbleupon. About 100 of my posts are featured on stumbleupon.com, and any stumbleupon user with humor or video interest have seen this site at least 10 times. (I know i did). Other sources of traffic are blogs and word of mouth.

Potential: As i said, i have never promoted this site except a few myspace bulletins. But this site has huge potential to be a very successful site. It has already been featured on some news sites like digg.com and shoutwire.com. Now here is the thing: Just post an article with a title "20 Funniest Videos Of 2006" or "10 [Something Interesting] Videos", and you will be linked like crazy. I did posted a top 10 list before, and it was very successful.

- Another thing, i have never sold links on this site, and i think you can earn like $50/month just by selling link spots.

- Site is getting a lot of search engine traffic from "you tube" and "funny youtube videos" searches. And this is from both google, yahoo, msn and some other search engines i have never heard

- As i said, template is custom made by me. If you were to buy it alone, it would cost you at least $100.

What is the monthly cost?: It needs nothing than ordinary php/mysql hosting. I host it on my $10/month hosting account with several other sites. You can even host it for $1/month. Even though this is a video site, you are not going to host the videos, just embed them. Therefore, your cost will be minimal.

What will you get?: You are going to get the domain name (at godaddy), database, and all the files on the site (including this custom template). All transfer costs are yours. Also i am not going to help you set the site up. (I may answer a few questions, but i am not very good with wordpress moving/transferring either, so you're on your own.)

i don't have a reserve price in mind, but i don't think i will sell it for anything lower than $500.

considering almost constant $40/month revenue and the fact that there never happened any real promotion, it is very understandable.
