I agree with you that members should use their brains before doing any transactions but we are not talking about normal money exchanges, Digg/stumble Upon, even though there is a risk of getting scammed in money exchanges but it usually isn't very big (except some rare cases). What I wanted to say was not to allow selling 'WHOLE/REGISTERED' currency accounts. I hope every one understand what I mean so we should just keep it away from other exchanges and focus on this issue. Because once a person starts selling one account other member (mostly newbies) start selling their accounts too and I don't want to see DP Turning into such a place. Ok I understand that DP doesn't work with TOS of other sites but DP has its own respect and no one would like to see on any other site"Hey Visit DP, you could buy anything (illegal, even hacked credit cards someday if no proper action is taken) over there". This is how I think about this issue and it looks a damn serious one to me.

Of course, the moderators don't care if they fail to keep order and allow the sale of illegal products. After all, it is not their forum at the end of the day, it is someone else's - Shawn Hogan.

Mods should definitely look into it. And I'm sure all the mods of this forum are currently working a lot to keep this place clean. I as admin of another webmaster forum am doing my best to take rubbish to the bin and keep my place as secure as possible for my members.

I must admit, being a moderator of a medium forum is hard, i believe i have been a bit too harsh in this thread. I understand how hard it is to keep everyone happy when you are in charge. It is the same with every boss in every business and country. They all have the problem of some people who are never happy, but if they support the minority, the majority are unhappy.

Being a moderator on a forum this large is something hard to do. If i had an offer to be a moderator on this forum, which i know i won't, i would say no. It is too much hard work.

Rules need to be made, but Shawn needs to take a break from his girlfriend or whatever he is doing just for a few days to fix this problem before DP is the stake of this roulette wheel.

Quite right! Mods already are doing great work and we can see that even being one of the biggest forums on internet, DP is clean. This shows that we have got hard working mods on DP :)

Yes, Rule need to be made but all depends on Shawn and Mods team to decide. This is a serious issue and should be taken care off properly or this could ruin Digital Point Forum's Reputation all over the places, which any of us don't want. I am quite sure Mods would be talking about that in "Mods section" and hopefully they will come with a solution that suits DP and it's legit members.

I agree with you Allen that its damned hard to keep everyone happy and a forum like DP. But as most of you guys are saying, there should be some new rules for these kinda illegal stuff.

Decisions have to be taken when it comes to someone's reputation. I hope Admin and Mods will take serious steps towards this issue.

Illegal is not the same as "against the TOS". I don't think bringing hacked credit cards and other things that are clearly illegal into the discussion is a fair comparison.

It's against Google's guidelines to buy/sell links - maybe we should close down the links sales section?

I'm the first to delete a post/thread in which someone is breaking a law but trying to enforce everyone else's terms of service would be near impossible.

But you still get involved when red flags arise about someone and BAN him

So why not take some steps by making some rules that eliminates things from the root ?

Some people don't have the knowledge to weight things and make decisions and limiting the offer or restricting it will kill the demand for such vulnerable goods being ready accounts /dirt cheap offers and such....

I second that. when you can take actions against members for not following your rules and you know that other company also have there rules which are open for public to view(and you'll as well) so why not respect there rules as well and not allow anything ill-legal to go on your forum/site as well.

I'm not talking about individual member conflict but am talking about respecting other company TOS.
