Hi there, I have just some question in my mind. selling online cigarettes are legal ! any restriction, if some one export a little amount of cigarettes to other for almost 32packets. what will happens if use postal for this purpose. please be cleared
your questions is country specific, whatever you will ship you have declare content of shipment and then it is up to the post of receiving country what they will do
Many countries have a specific licensing and taxation requirement for tobacco retailers. Like slogold says, it's specific to each country. The best thing to do is to contact your jurisdiction's revenue agency about what is necessary to legally sell tobacco.
I know someone that buys online overseas all the time. They are cheaper because they do not charge nearly the taxes that US charge, and from what I understand this one place does not report your purchases, and it does not matter how you go about it, you will still need permits and such, I am sure it is complex mess to get into in order to sell cig, but the cheaper you can sell them and still make profit, the more orders you get. I know in the US most of the sale on a pack or carton is nothing but taxes...and the postal service will consider cig a contraband, I am sure there are ways around this because the person I know gets his cig from overseas, this is something you would have to look into very closely...
