Selling Old DMOZ-Listed Site -- Best Option?

Hi. I'm trying to figure out how to get the best price for an old site that I'm going to sell. It's about 8 years old, has a page rank of 4, and it's listed in the DMOZ directory in one of their "alternative health" categories. The site's theme is product-focused and it is a ".com"...

Should I list it on eBay or another auction site? Should I try to sell it here on the DP forums? Also, how can I accurately estimate its value? Are the websiteoutlook.com valuations any good?

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

In my experience, any automated website valuation tool is completely inaccurate. You could put your site in to 10 of them and you'd get 10 wildly different outcomes.

There are lots of decent domain markets out there, and maybe putting up a free listing in one or two of those with no set price or end date is at least a good way to judge interest. Best case scenario, you get a good offer and sell it.

Thanks Phooey. I think I will post the site on 2 or 3 auction sites and see what happens...
