Selling Selling My Wordpress Arcade Site (established + revenue)

Up for sale is WordpressArcade.com

I have been running this site since 07/24/2008 and the domain expires on 07/24/2010 domain is with namecheap (free push)

It has been monetized using clicksor, which probably isnt the best company to use, it made $1.19 with them last month so the new owner may want to try some other methods of generating revenue.

It has sold one homepage link with linkworth which brings in $15 per month, this can be transfered to the new owner providing the have a linkworth account.

Now to state the obvious, its an arcade site and it runs on wordpress...

Its using the latest version of wordpress 2.8.4

It has 9,367 games, all games are hosted on the site (aprox 13gig)

small amount of work required to finish off the homepage, just done it basic html to display thumbnail etc, easy to update/change, just needs some more thumbnails creating.

it has alot of plugins installed, seo friendly ulr's, meta tags, recomend game to a friend, rate the games, display similar games, social bookmarking, and more.

I would like to run this auction for a maximum of 24 hours, sooner if possible, my server is closing shortly so the new buyer will have to make a backup of the site as soon as possible, i know this may be difficult due to the site of the site, but i am looking for a buyer that can get on with the site transfer as soon as sale ends.

 

Where are your traffic sources from? Are they mostly organic or paid for?

the new buyer is required to move the site themselves, i have to move about 20-30 sites from my server and then it is being closed so i can provide hosting, it requires 13gig space, but bandwidth usage i about 4gig a month at the moment, but this would obviously increase if you can get move visitor to the site.

 

how much are you paying for existing server space

 

i have a dual core dedicated server $175 per month

 

How long do we have time to move the files?

you could but it would mean that you would have to edit 9,367 games or delete them all and start from scratch which would somewhat defeat the purpose...

 

how about the arcade license ?

there is no license, i bought the gamepack with the wordpress DB for another DP member.
