Im thinking of making my site a membership site, selling yealy memberships. Does anyone here have any experience in doing this? Did anyone have any success?
It can be tough. I had one that I marketed really aggressively and even then I wasn't clearing $1000 a month. With the trouble you have to go to creating new content, and also if you have a forum you have to make sure it's moderated, sometimes it's not such a good idea. It would depend on whether you have a lot of people who are already interested and if you have a strong promotional plan in place. Dan
