I had my adsense account canceled a couple weeks ago. I appealed and lost. Google wouldn’t really tell me why… only that they’d detected invalid clicks. I had some text next to an ad on a site saying something like "why does google serve Starbucks ads on this site?" or something like that. That’s the only thing I could figure. The ad was only clicked on once for $.22. Anyhow, without adsense and no yahoo I don’t really know what to do other than sell off my sites. I’ve made my statcounter stats public but I can’t take screen shots of adsense because of my account status. I made a spreadsheet in November with monthly stats so that should help me some so I’m not just doing earnings from memory.

The prices below are starting bids. I will post BINs later this week. While I expect the auction to last 1 week, I reserve the right to sell or not sell at any time. I will try to check the thread and PM a couple times / day but please be patient if it takes me a few hours or even a day to reply. I work away from the Internet and will be travelling occasionally.

Many of these sites are just good intentions though some have traffic and earnings.

Please ask questions before bidding. I've had bad experiences with DP people wanting (to me) unreasonable things after the sale and also ripping me off. Sitepoint is just too expensive for a fire sale. (If there's someplace else I should be selling them, please let me know)

The sites I’m offering for sale are:

    www.TanMonkey.com: $100

    http://my.statcounter.com/project/standard/stats.php?project_id=1452296&guest=1

PR4 Joke Site. The site is pretty cobbled together. It has maybe 50 pages (yahoo says 30 but it seems like there are more... maybe not). NoCMS. (though it should have one. I goofed with one here: http://test.tanmonkey.com/ but didn't modify it to where ti needed to be). I have a menu and ad banner (currently disabled) as an include on each page. Gets a couple hundreduniques / day. It occasionally will have a 5,000+ week from traffic sent by stumbleupon.com or shoutwire.com. I made this site as a holder of dumb email jokes I received after I saw how much traffic one page I had on a .edu site got. In 6 months it earned $44.71 in adsense. I only had banner ads at the top or bottom of the pages (not optimized) with a terrible CTR (impressions: 44576 clicks: 349 ctr: 0.78%)

    www.Scripturn.com: $20

    http://my.statcounter.com/project/standard/stats.php?project_id=1912532&guest=1

PHP script site. I bought this site here a few months ago for a few hundred bucks. I never got it set up on my account properly and have had no sales. It is the originator of the 85 scripts for $1 thing (I think) that was all ofdigpoint a few months back. It had 80 sales in September (@ $1) and about half that many in the months before that. It has been idle since I bought it. I believe the former owner would be willing to help set it up and I can confirm this if you'd like.

    www.Spoems.com - $50

PR4 Spam Poetry website. Nothing fancy. Runs on wordpress. Low traffic http://my.statcounter.com/project/standard/stats.php?project_id=1232749&guest=1 Has a wikipedia link. The concept never really took off. I have a ridiculous chuck Norris site at chuck.spoems.com but I don’t know that it has ever seen traffic. Every now and again someone comes by and submits a "spoem". Some other guy stole the idea and set up a similar page, but his hasn't caught on either. Very low earnings.

Page impressions Clicks Page CTR Page eCPM
    Earnings

    741 5 0.67% $0.46 $0.34

    www.AolLeak.com - $20

I bought this domain after the AOL data leak but never did anything with it. Stats: http://my.statcounter.com/project/standard/stats.php?project_id=1789488&guest=1 It earned $17.67 in the past 3 months from adsense. Adsense info: impressions: 764 clicks: 38 ctr: 4.97% cpm: $23.13 total: $17.67 per click: $0.47

    www.Wikidpad.com - $100

I've been using this page for adsense arbitrage. Wikidpad is the name of a kind of wiki software (wikidpad.org) popular with the GTD crowd. I'd buy adwords for $.05 and get an average of $.35 / click, often as high as $2 / click (I'll give more info to buyer). The site doesn't get any organic traffic. Between April and October, the site made $52.30 in adsense (I had a voucher for $20 and didn't use all of it...I think I spent about $15 to get that $52). I also made a couple of sales for $30 through JotSpot's affiliate program.

    www.ZuneZag.com - $50

Zune store. I've been targeting the keyword "zune accessories"and "zune ipod comparison". It has occasionally done ok but it's now only getting about 10 / day. I don't have any recollection of adsense earnings (I built the site since I made my spreadsheet). I've gotten a hundred or soclickthroughs to amazon but no sales yet.
    http://my.statcounter.com/project/standard/stats.php?project_id=2053192&guest=1

    www.Funtonic.info - $10

I bought this here a couple months ago but never got it set up. I think I still have the files sent to me to set up the joke CMS.

    www.i-webtools.net/ - $10
I bought this here a couple months ago but it's just sat there. I thought the tools and scripts were nice.

    Various Speculative Domains:

    www.ShenVal.com - $75

Not much there. In fact I just noticed it has some foot stuff I was goofing with. You can ignore that. It's a nice domain name. It’s been around for ever but has never been developed or promoted.

    www.thegreatrevelation.com/ - $10

    http://my.statcounter.com/project/standard/stats.php?project_id=1124525&guest=1

It was a potential name for the 6th or 7th Harry Potter book. It got 1,500 visits from yahoo “harry potter and the death hallows” the other day but it no longer seems to be in those results. i sold an hp book at amazon for $.30 of commission

    www.heirofhogwarts.com/ - $10

    - It was a potential name for the 6th or 7th Harry Potter book - JKrowling explicitly refuted the potential name after I got the site:

    www.Viraday.com - $25

It’s a prescription aids drug. I bought the name the day of the announcement. I heard that meds pay well for adsense but I never got around to building a site.

    www.actualanalyzer.com - $50

actual analyzer is a log analysis tool. I meant to build a site reviewing log tools and stick it here but never got around to it.

    www.rzil.com - $50

4 letter domain. No site built. I bought it a few months ago because the name seemed nice.

    www.sellaccount.com - $10

great keywords for a site. No real content though. PR4

    www.Short-Haricut.com - $10

name only. "Short Haircut" has been a fast gaining search query but I never developed a site to capture that momentum.

    www.visitor-tracking.com - $25

only one page of content. It has a couple of prominent edu links to http://www.visitor-tracking.com/pm-jokes.php (PR4) that send 10 - 20 people / day.

    www.lormic.com - $10

I liked the name for some reason but never did anything with it.

    www.pinata-island.com - $20

great name for viva pinata site (i think the "action" in the series happens on pinata island). MS expects to sell a million+ of thosexbox games for this kids show.

    www.hudsonhorstacio.com - $10

lead character from the viva pinata show

    www.praisehub.com - $10

I don't know what I was thinking here. I had some great idea and the site has gotten PR4 somehow and a little traffic but there's nothing there.

    www.codeplex.us - $10

Codeplex.com is MS .NET code source repository. There is no serious challenger to codeplex.com for a lot of the keywords sending traffic to the ms site so I thought: Why not. I never did anything with it.

    Real Estate Plays

Columbus and duplex were low hanging fruit in the real estate area but I never ended up building sites to target those terms

    www.rent-duplex.com - $10

    www.columbus-apartment.com - $10

real estate market that doesn't have one player very dominant in the rankings. I was hoping to change that but never got around to it. I used to have a few listings and advertised them incraigslist (how it got PR1) but I got distracted with other things. I thought it had some adsense but maybe not as I didn't put anything in my spreadsheet.

    www.duplex-rentals.com - $10

There was a private bid for tanmonkey for $125.

There were 2 other private bids for groupings of sites but I don't know how to break those out so I won't try.

Also, I'm going to wait at least a couple days before ending the things early just so more folks have a chance to see the thread and potentially bid.

    Thanks for all the interest.

I am intersted in spoems but are these sites banned from adsense then? Also I thought adsense only bans each site at a time?

I just bought the site a couple months ago and it had the page rank when I got it. As such I can only conclude that you are correct. I will try to update the listing. Sorry to mislead folks.

I just saw this question. I'm not expert. The sites serve adsense now but not my account. My account and 75 or so site with adsense on them are serving blank spaces now. The site that got me cancelled (I believe... don't really know) was at www.chml-srucnoc.net.

I believe I've replied to all questions at this point. If I've ignored you just PM me or post and I'll do my best to answer any questions you have. Thanks again for all the interest.
