Selling links, what type of links are allowed?

    I am going to start selling text links on my sites, does AdSense prohibit any links? For example, are adult sites, gambling sites, or any other sites not allowed in AdSense allowed to be linked to?

    Any thing that is illegal for content on your site is against the TOS to link to...

    I have inquired about this specifically in the past.

    So you can't link to gambling sites, adult sites, pharmacies etc.

    That's terrible, they shouldn't be regulating that! I suppose this includes popup ads as well?

    They're not regulating what you can or can't have on your sites, but they are trying to keep Adwords/Adsense "clean." So you can have whatever you want on your site, but you may not be able to use Adsense.

    There are other PPC companies out there and I know some of them do allow adult/gambling sites and advertisments. The names are escaping me right now...

    They are regulating what type of sites may advertise if you use adsense on the site. I am losing a huge part of income by having to reject certain AdBrite ads.
