Selling Investing blog site

It's set up with adsense but it's not making any money. Not enough traffic to bring in adsense revenue. My intention with the site was to develop an investing guide for beginners that's different from anything out there in one fundamental way - it actually helps a beginner understand investing. Don't know about you but personally most beginners guides I've encountered have been useless.

Unfortunately I was never able to get the material produced for lack of funds. What I was going to do was get a really hot book produced. Not an ebook - a real book. Then I was going to use adwords to drive some targetted traffic to the site to sell the book. Meanwhile I was going to have a regular blogger doing posts. So I was going to be making money off the site from both adsense and sales of the book.

Someone who can afford it can still take the site and do what I was going to do with it. In fact I can't see buying the site for any other reason but to further develop it. It wouldn't make sense.

Here's a tiny url that will take you to the site
    http://tinyurl.com/39x5fv

I'll be posting a couple of other sales for sites that I was going to do a similar thing with when I thought I'd be able to afford it, so when you see the similar text in another ad for a different URL please keep that in mind.

Please don't offer me $10 for the site. The current content is original and should be considered in any offer made.

I did not have a BIN in mind. The site is about 6 months old. I hesitate to set a BIN. The site's revenue and traffic is what's generally used to calculate worth but as stated this site has neither revenue nor traffic to measure. The worth is in what you can do with the site and the original content that comes with it, some of which was paid for, the rest done by myself. I am open to discussion.

Just a note: I received a PM accusing that the posts on the blog are not unique.

I can assure you they are because I wrote them myself with the exception of 10% of the posts that were written by a writer I had paid to be the blogger for the site for a brief period. And while I won't put my life on the line to vouch for him (his posts are under the name timK) I'm pretty confident the material he produced was his own original stuff.

I'm still waiting on the individual who PMed me to explain what he means. I'm thinking this is probably a duplicate content issue he's bringing up rather than it being that he's saying timK and I are not the original authors of the posts. The fact is, we are the original authors, but I'm sure you are all aware of the automated blog craze. People starting blogs that automatically update by pulling material from sites with good, original content.

I can't control people pulling from my RSS feeds and publishing my content on their blog. The majority of these people usually link back to the site as the source.

I'm not that up to speed with google's duplicate content policy, but I'd like to hope Google doesn't go around penalizing sites from which people are sucking content knowing we can't control our RSS feeds being used by automated sites to build their content. I've thought about not having an RSS feed but I read everywhere how valuable it is to have one, so I've left it in place and don't see that it should be fair that the site should be punished as having duplicate content when the content belongs to the site and is duplicated by other people without authorization.

Your thoughts on the subject are invited.

The design is not my own. I downloaded a free wordpress theme and modified it a bit to add a unique touch. The design is by Derek Punsalan. It's a modified version of his 'Grid Focus'

I am open to discussion about what the site is worth. I have no BIN in mind as content value is subjective. A writer wants to believe his material is worth millions, doesn't mean someone is willing to pay millions.

There are currently 29 posts. I am willing to agree to write an additional 21 posts to make it 50. I'd ideally like to be offered between $5 - $10 per post.

    So at 29 posts, I'm looking for offers from $145 - $290

If someone wants me to do an additional 21 posts to even the starting number at 50 it would be from $250 - $500.

    Hope that seems fair enough.
