Since it's not tobacco, do I need to do anything special to sell hookahs on ebay, like get a license or anything?
Why don't you just email ebay just to be extra sure, I can't see the problem with it but it's ebay you want to be asking.
Seems like it's fine, as long as there's no tobacco included. http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/tobacco.html p.s - it took me 5 seconds to look that up on their site.
I know that ebay allows me to sell them, my question was that since I am selling an item used to smoke tobacco do I need any sort of special licenses or anything.
its my first time hearing the thing named hooka... i even thought it was for ears .. made me wannahookaloggie. how does this look like?
It's pretty safe, until and unless it's "Tobacco Free". and i am sure that you are not selling "Tobacco" with it.
Just be sure to look into the laws on a per state basis. Some don't allow what they consider paraphernalia.. That's how Tommy Chong got in trouble.
would you mind putting the image(s) of your product here....and the material used to manufacture it.... i can offer you my expert comment pretty clear......i am running 13 stores worldwide for my clients....so please shot more details abut your product..... loking fwrd 2 ya
If you are selling well designed and artistically appealing hookahs, you can always pass off, selling them as collector's item. Though selling them for real purpose of smoking tobacco, might get you into trouble in some countries! Regards, RightMan
i can tell you that the local head shops need a license to sell there hookas, water pipes, and "tobacco" bongs. and no state will stop you from selling them as long as you specify for "tobacco" use only
I never did say that you were selling tobacco on ebay I was just saying even if you did have a license you couldnt sell it anyway because it's against there TOS.
