It's come time to sell my baby. The site is little more than 4 months old, PR4, around 50k/month in traffic, which has gone down from 80-100k due to me not having time to update. The site is heavily SEO'd and ranks number 6 for a one word term, alongside VERY old, VERY strong sites. Very easy to get this site back up to 100k uniques per month, I'll show you everything you need to know.

This site has HUGE names in this field that will write articles for you, just send them an email. They all know and respect the site, very much. Most cash has been made from direct advertising, but the site averages $350-$400/month in adsense, $200 in Burst Media, $150 in Kontera and about $750-$1000/month in direct advertising, (though you'll have to go re-sell most of the direct, there is however 4 current advertisers, pulling in $300/month).

The site is a very niche news site, with a focus on alternative news. PM me for details, but keep in mind, I will only consider serious offers, as this is a complete operation. We get books and dvd's in the mail for review, we have several podcasts professionally recorded with HUGE names in these fields, that will transfer and will be able to be posted in the future, and have several articles that have received MUCH attention, still on the site.

The site is DMOZ listed, developed with Joomla (highly modified), and has a vbulletin license, but the forum is not very active, as I launched something else, in place of it that is doing much better. The other site is a myspace type site, but for paranormal enthusiasts. I could potentially include this site as well, if the price is right. Included will be the .net, .org, .com, and a few common mis-spellings of the domain.

The site is hosted on a shared server with bluehost right now, costing me like $90/year. Site only uses 50-70gb per month, as there's really not much media on the site, and up until recently I've always used a podcasting service.

Please take into consideration, this is a complete operation up for sale, not just a website. There are numerous high level contacts in this field that will come with this, and RIDICULOUS room for growth. I'll provide 4-5 complete 2 hour podcasts with the sale, so you can post those and get the traffic back up. I'll also provide you with an email list of article contributors, and potential advertisers. I'll give you step by step instructions on how this became what it has, traffic wise, and how to get the traffic and revenue back up.

To be honest, it only takes 15-20 minutes per day, 5 days per week to maintain this site, but I've got a real life business (IT consulting firm) that is just, waay to busy right now to deal with all of this, setting up advertising, being a liaison between the public and certain paranormal celebrities, and podcasting.

When you write an article, you're guaranteed 4 sites, all ranked 15k in alexa or better (the last time I checked) will post the article and a link. Traffic is simple, because of the brand.

Site is ranked around 200k in alexa, but has recently (2 weeks ago) hit 195k. Tons of good hardlinks around the web on high trafficked, strong pages. Biggest article yet, had 40,000 uniques in about 10 hours, without Digg or Reddit, just a combination of those 4 outlets that posted it. This has been done (more or less, 35k-38k) 5-6 times, and will consistently do this, if the article is right.

What costs are involved in running the site apart from hosting. Do you for example have to pay the contributors. Also who reviews the books, dvd's etc you are sent for review?
