I recently came up with an idea to sell EDU back links. I was doing some research and saw there are are some other companies out there that do this, but they all seem to run in the same fashion. They have bots that go out, find forums and blogs installed on .edu domains and they then spam those forums/blogs with the links. Problem with this is that they can't confirm if the links are follow vs nofollow, if/when the comments will be removed, and the number of the links on the actual page. As for my idea, I have the ability to manually add these links to edu sites. The links can consist of just a link, a paragraph of text with a link, or a full blown web page. I can make sure all of the links are follow and manually control the number of outbound links on any page. This way you know you are getting quality back links. I have purchased a domain name, and plan on building out the application but wanted to get some initial feedback first. I'm charging just $5/month/back link during my trial process, all of which go to my operating costs and am not charging any additional overhead. If you're interested leave a comment or shoot me a PM, and we'll see if we can work something out.
