    Hello,

I was considering writing and selling eBooks on Amazon through an outside publisher. Has anyone had any experience or success doing this?

Any advice would be much appreciated :)

    Regards,

You need to be a professional established (officially recognised) writer in order to be able to do so.

My thinking was that all u need is to write a book, get an ISBN # ($100) and thn u should be able to list it on Amazon. Correct my if i'm wrong

ClickBank is the better option for e-books IMO. You need to get a ISBN code for your book and Amazon changers are higher than ClickBank.

I sell e-books in the Kindle store. It's free and simple to use. You don't need an ISBN, Amazon will assign one to it. You get 70% of what the book sells for.

I agree with Rebecca, Kindle store is the easiest way to self-publish, you don't need to pay any fees in advance and it's very easy to set up.

The Kindle store IS easy to use and Barnes and Noble have pubit.com. Both are free and anyone can join.

You can also give Tradebit a try. I did and I sold a little bit of stuff there.
