Sorry I posted this in the wrong section, so have reposted here Hi, I am having a major problem which has gone on for years now. I sell quite a lot of ebooks a week and after payment set up to direct people to the download page. Now this is no problem for 80% of people, but for some reason that I cannot figure out, 20% don't get directed and then email me asking where the book is and some putting in for instant refunds thinking they have been ripped off. It is not a country thing as it can happen anywhere, could it be a browser issue? Or can anyone give me any idea as to what it is and how I can fis it, even if it means using another program, just totally baffled with it and it's causing me so many problems. Thanks
You have to 'belt and braces' it. Send them an email too (to their paypal email), with the same info, as well as try to 'return' to a page with the info.
Not sure what you mean by 'belt' and braces it' or this as well as try to 'return' to a page with the info. Also still unsure why some receive it and others don't? I will though just ask the same question, what is the best email addy to get them to answer, I always thought it was impossible to get a reply that was not automated, the reason I have never tried.
Hi I am sorry not in a position to answer your question but I am very much interested in the answer. I want to start selling ebooks and receive payments via paypal so I'll keep an eye on this thread for a while. What I wanted to say is that my experience with paypal replying to questions has been excellent. Last week I had a problem with a refund that did not appear on my bank statement. I got an email reply within 24 hours with details that I was able to take to my bank and the matter was cleared (turns out my bank misposted the money) As ContentBoss mentioned above, send them an email using their paypal email (you will find the link to their email on the paypal page once you have logged in. I hope this helps
