I don't see why you wouldn't be able to sell a .me name @ Sedo. The best place is to sell directly to endusers, you'll get more money that way.
hi mate, what do you mean by endusers? could you please elaborate on this? haven't heard the term before. thank you in advance.
Htmlindex meant sell directly to someone who is interested in buying your domain. There are many ways to achieve this, from put up a "for sale" web page to advertise such sale to attract prospective buyers.
Thank you mystique. Do you know how much sedo get as commission for a $100 sale? I think sedo provides protection for sellers that they are not scammed. How can you protect yourself if someone has grabbed your domain and never pays back?
usually Sedo take 10% of the price . ( I think if the domain not parked with them the commission will be more )
this is how it used to be. Now they also require to sell at fixed price to pay 10% fees only. If you sell from auction, your fee is the greater of $50 and 10%. So if you started auction at $60 and did not collect any more bids, your net pay is ... $60-$50=$10
Domainia, if you sell at auction and no one bids and no one buys your domain, will you still pay the $50?
the importance is that how you can find the right end users, and they will buy your domain with higher price than others.
If you have a kick-ass "verb.me" than your domain is worth a lot. Depends on the name of course. Verb .me domains are the most valuable at the moment. If your domains is sold at sedo with the price being above $500, you'll pay only $10 comission to sedo. Everything under $500 is $50 comission.
Kass, how about if you sold a domain at $25,000, how much would be SEdo's commission? Still $10? That would be very cheap huh!
