Selling domain names on Flippa, I have some questions

    Hello guys,

I am relatively new to selling domains. All the domains I have sold so far, were sold on Flippa.
I didn't really get buyers on Sedo, Afternic, etc. but that's probably because those platforms are less direct?

    I have a few questions.

I have 200+ domains I want to sell. I believe there are some really good domains in the list. A lot of new .TLD's, some nice ''domain hacks'' and also a lot of Bitcoin-related names.

But, as I am a student, I can't afford to take the gamble and list 200 separate listings on Flippa (would cost me $1800, more than the cost of the domain names).

So I am not sure what to do.

I want to list the 200 domain names as a bulk/set and use the $349 pro-listing, so it will at least get some extra exposure (bold listing, logo, tweeted to followers, emailed, featured on frontpage, etc.)

But I am afraid the domain names will be undersold if I go for this option. Some of the domains I planned to include, just sold for between $100 - $300 each.

What would you advice me to do in this case? Could you maybe ''scan'' the domain list for me and give me some advise? :)

Also: are there coupons/discount codes available to list on Flippa for cheap? :)

I hope to be hearing from you soon :)

Tbh here, new tlds, hacks, and a bunch of hand reg' bitcoin names don't sound too appealing/marketable lol. Likely to be more novelty names, than ones that have value.

If that's the case, you're far better off holding out than listing your names for auction on Flippa. W/o seeing your list, I can almost guarantee you're likely not to see the same results.

    There are no coupons/discounts.

If you post your list, I'll look it over.

My recommendation (granted I'm going to assume you'd rather have the money now over later)...just do a basic listing for $9 and let it run it's course. It'll pick up bids/interest and a watch list. I'd run it for 15 days opposed to the full 30. It's free to relist this month, so you can do that. Or upgrade the 2nd time, carrying over that watch list you had on the 1st run.

All in all, don't get your hopes w/ Flippa. What you see sell isn't always the case and similarly "how" it sells. A lot of sellers try to duplicate the results they see on Flippa, and will more than likely fall short. That's just how it is.
